Daisy Humphrey, 100, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Dec. 9, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion M.B. Church with Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Willie J. Kegler officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Humphrey as born Jan. 22, 1913 in Malone, Fla. and worked most of her life in domestic services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivo Humphrey and her parents, Jim Cooper and Gussie Harris.
Survivors include her son, Luther Pete Humphrey; daughters Helen Marie Handsford, Gwendolyn Humphrey-Mills and Gussie Mae Rucker; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives in Sanford, Fla. and Cyrene, Ga.
