Priscilla Keen Brock, 72, of Cairo, Ga., passed away at her home in Grady County, Ga., on Sept. 30, 2013. No services will be held.
Mrs. Brock was born on October 4, 1940, in Lake Wales, Fla., to the late Paul M. Keen and Lucilla Clark Keen. She was married to Charles R. Brock, who preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1998. After working for many years as a postal clerk in Bainbridge, she retired from the United States Postal Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales, where she played the piano as a young girl. Priscilla was beautiful in body and spirit and could always smile under pressure. Pricilla was a real cowgirl who was tough and lived a strong life. She was known for her strong work-ethic which she acquired from her mother. She was generous like her father and quick to encourage her family in all situations.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include: daughter, Valerie B. Gilliard (Stacy) of Cairo; son, Robert Brock (Kelly) of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; grandchildren, Whitney Herrod of Cairo, Tessa Gilliard of Cairo, Morgan Gilliard of Cairo, Kaitlyn Brock of Tarpon Springs, Marshall Brock of Tarpon Springs; great-grandchildren, Jayden Jones of Cairo, Jordan Doan of Cairo, Cheyanne Doan of Cairo; sister, Mary Jo Witten of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and a brother, Paul Keen of Lake Wales.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Brock’s honor to a charity of your choice.
