Mr. Winfred Miller, 84, of Brinson, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.  Services for Mr. Miller were held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Harvest Assembly of God Church in Bainbridge. Bro. Bobby Reese officiated. A private interment was held at West Bainbridge Cemetery, with Don Paul, Dennis Logue, Gary Peter, Michael Godby, Johnny Godby, Ricky Miller and Josh Miller serving as pallbearers.
Winfred Miller was born Jan. 13, 1929, in Desser, Ga. to Jim and Sarah Lynn Miller. He served in the U.S. Army. Winfred was a gifted craftsman and operated Miller’s Cabinet Shop for more than 40 years, specializing in custom-crafted cabinets. He loved to fish. Winfred Miller was wholly dedicated to the Lord. He was the founder and CEO of Gospel of Jesus Ministry. His passion was attending church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Debra Sue Miller, Vance Miller and Judy Lynn Miller; and brothers and sisters, Allison Miller, Ivey Miller, Nealie Taylor, Walter B. Miller, May Harris and Les Moat.
Winfred Miller is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marsha Tucker Miller of Brinson; children, Stanley Miller and wife, Becki of Bainbridge, Tony and wife, Dorenda of Bainbridge, Mark Miller and wife, Tammy of Brinson, Shannon Martin and husband, James of Brinson, and Ashley M. Miller of Brinson; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in his honor to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
