Ricky E. Eidson, 46, of Albany, Ga., died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at his residence and has gone to be with the Lord. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Mathews Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Chancellor and Curtis Edison officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of Albany, Mr. Eidson was a graduate of Albany High School and was a body technician with Eidson Body Shop. He was a member of Life Christian Center International and attended Lakeside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Eugene Eidson.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Sue Maloy Eidson, of Albany; a sister and her husband, Angie and Tony Deese, of Worth County, Ga.; a brother, Rex Eidson of Albany; a niece, Adrienne Phillips of Worth County; a nephew and his wife, Shane and Blakely Phillips of Leesburg, Ga., a friend of Bill W. and his pets, Smokey and Bandit.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, which is in charge of arrangements.
