June is Child Vision Awareness Month

June is Child Vision Awareness Month, and a great time to get your child’s vision examined. Children of all ages with visual handicaps can benefit from services provided by the Southwest Georgia Library for Accessible Services. The Southwest Georgia Library for Accessible Services provides materials in recorded format to those who are blind and/or physically handicapped.

This is a free service and all materials are mailed to the customers’ homes. If your child or someone else you know is blind and/or physically handicapped, please call the Southwest Georgia Library for Accessible Services at (229) 248-2680 or 1-800-795-2680, or visit our website at www.swgrl.org/vrp.php for more information and/or to sign up for this service.
