Stanley L. Chase, 53, of Bettstown, Ga., passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at his home.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Franklin Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Bettstown.

A native of Augusta, Maine, he had lived in Bettstown for the past 12 years. Survivors include his wife, Joan Chase; son, Mike E. Nelson; daughter, Samantha Hurst; grandchild, Bella Rose Nelson; mother, Myra Cook; brothers, Danny and Timmy Cook; and sisters, Barbara Josey, Evelyn Perrin, Althea Mitchell and Donna Wood.

Independent Funeral Home of Quincy, Fla., is in charge.
