Funeral services for Gary Wyatt Griffin, 25, of Blakely, Ga., will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Odom officiating. Interment will be in Blakely Cemetery with Justin Brooks, Kyle Brooks, Tom Burrows, Ben Pitts, Clint Bush and Jeff McLain acting as pallbearers and Macke Griffin, Dustin Merritt, Witt Wilbourn, Wayne Aunspaugh, Benjamin White and Randy Lashley as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Griffin was born Feb. 1, 1987 in Dothan, Ala., and died June 2, 2012. He was employed as a service technician for Safety Plus Fire Equipment, was a volunteer for the Lucile Fire Department and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his father, Gary Lamar Griffin and wife Patti Jo of Blakely; his mother, Cecilia Lynn Evans Moulton and husband Glenn of Bainbridge; a sister, Martha Bush of Blakely; a brother, Chad Judson Griffin of Blakely; a step-brother, Michael Wilson of Tampa, Fla.; four step-sisters, Cindy Francisco and husband Jeremy of Hilliard, Fla., Laurie Paris of Dallas, Texas, Brittany Moulton and Meghan Moulton, both of Dothan, Ala.; grandparents, Mack Griffin and Judy Carmichael, both of Blakely and Ann and Ed Gold of Albany.
