Graveside services for William Ernest “Bill” Mobley, 61, of Climax, are at 10 a.m., Monday, May 28, 2012, at Salem Cemetery in Climax. Rev. Robert Crapps will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Mobley was born in Cairo, Ga., on Oct. 2, 1950, to the late Alto and Myrtle Pafford Mobley. He passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was a disabled veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Mobley; and sister, Iris Mobley.

He is survived by two daughters and grandchildren who reside in Florida; sisters, Martha Sumner (Merle) of Thomasville, Margie Mobley of Bonifay, Fla., Cheryl Hopkins (Dave) of Cairo; brother, Charles Mobley of Climax; and a host of nieces and nephews.
