Bernett Matthews announces the engagement of her daughter, Connie Matthews, to Robbie Parker, the son of Johnson and Betty Parker.

Miss Matthews is the daughter of the late Sidney Matthews.

The wedding is planned for May 19 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with the reception immediately following at the church fellowship hall.

All friends and family are invited to attend.
