Jr. ROTC cadets fly high

The Bainbridge High School Air Force Junior ROTC turned in some solid performances at the Saturday, March 17, Air Force National Junior ROTC Drill Championships Unarmed Division competition at the Metroplex in Macon, Ga.

The Bainbridge High School unit finished 12th in inspection and 10th in regulation drills, led by Cadet Captain Riley Cutchin.

They were also 18th in color guard, 20th in unarmed exhibition and 29th in unarmed exhibition.

The color guard team was commanded by Cadet Sergeant Zeril Patel and the exhibition team was commanded by Cadet Major Chris Campbell.

The day before the competition, the Bainbridge cadets visited the air museum and Warner Robins Air Force Base.

“It was a good weekend overall for us,” BHS Air Force Junior ROTC program director Lt. Col. Dave Stewart said. “I am very proud of all of our cadet competitors.”
