The double-elimination contest was a first-time event for Bainbridge, and was sponsored as a fundraiser for the Bainbridge High School Bearcats wrestling teams. Coach Chad Smith said they realized a $400 profit from the event.

Another, unrelated tournament, with a $25 entry fee, is planned for April 28 at D&D Lawnmower, 1651 Tallahassee Highway, with a $100 first-place guarantee. Contact (229) 246-7031 or (229) 220-6313 for more information.
