The funeral service for Elizabeth Hudson Brock, 84, of Bainbridge, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Sutton Chapel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Lynn Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Sutton Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Ivey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brock was born May 6, 1927, in Climax, the daughter of William and Effie Hudson. She died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Climax High School and a member of Sutton Chapel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey A. Brock; and her son, Stanley Brock.

Survivors include her son, Dewey A. Brock Jr. and his wife, Hilda, of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Dewey A. Brock III and his wife, Melissa, Amy B. Howell and her husband, Tommie, Whitney B. Hughes and her husband, Sam, and Ashley Brock; her great-grandchildren, Bailey Brock, Caden Brock, Bryce Howell, Brock Gannon Howell, Gavin Hughes, and Elizabeth Hughes.
