The funeral service for Georgia Bowen Kline, 89, of Bainbridge, was held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Milton Harrison officiating. Interment was at Oak City Cemetery.

Mrs. Kline was born June 8, 1922, in Bainbridge, the daughter of Russell H. Bowen and Florence Torbert Bowen. She died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Florida Southern College. Mrs. Kline taught elementary school with the Decatur County School System for over 30 years. She was a member of Independent Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Robert P. Kline Jr. of Bainbridge; her granddaughters, Cheryl Bush, Dana Johnson, Rebecca Kline and Romona Kline; and her great-grandchildren, Zachary Bush, Michael Wild and Hannah Johnson.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
