• Ford Chapel A.M.E. Church — The church, located at 425 W. College St., will have a Men and Women Day on Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Josephas Johnson bringing the message.

• Emanuel M.B. Church — The church, located at 161 Emanuel Church Road in Fowlstown, will have a Black History program given by the youth department on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 2:30 p.m.

• Climax United Methodist Church — The church, located at 210 W. Broad St. in Climax, will host the Dixie Echoes Quartet in concert Sunday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but a love offering will be taken. This group has been singing Southern gospel music for more than 50 years and is one of the few pioneer gospel quartets still in existence today.

• Climax United Methodist Church — The church, located 210 W. Broad St., will host a World Day of Prayer service Friday, March 2, beginning at noon. Bring a sack lunch to eat in the Fellowship Hall after the service. Drinks and desserts will be provided by the church. An offering for women’s and children’s missions in U.S. and abroad will be received.
