Georgia-Florida Shootout Friday Saturday

Coach Rickey McCullough’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats will host the second annual Georgia Florida Basketball Shootout Friday and Saturday at the school gymnasium.

There will be four games on Friday and five games on Saturday and admission will be $7 each day.

Friday’s action will begin with a 3:30 p.m. game between the Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets and the Blountstown, Florida High School Tigers.

The Miller County High School Pirates will play the Cottondale, Florida High School Hornets at 5 p.m. and the Valdosta High School Wildcats will play the defending Florida state class AAA champion Rickards High School Raiders from Tallahassee at 6:30 p.m.

Friday’s action will conclude with an 8 p.m. game between the Bearcats and the undefeated Malone, Florida High School Tigers.

Saturday’s action will begin with a 2 p.m. game between Thomas County Central and Cottondale and continue with a 3:30 p.m. game between Miller County and Blountstown.

Valdosta and Malone will play at 5 p.m. and the Cairo High School Syrupmakers and Wakulla, Florida War Eagles will play at 6:30 p.m.

Shootout action will conclude with an 8 p.m. game between the Bearcats and Rickards.
