Lord’s Lighthouse Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84 in Climax, will hold a Christmas Revival on Dec. 12-16 at 7 p.m. nightly, with Evangelist Larry Richards as speaker.

New Messiah M.B. Church — The church, located at 1300 East River Road, will conclude the celebration of the anniversary of the church and Pastor Alfred Smith III at the 11:30 a.m. service on Sunday, Dec. 11.

• First African Baptist Church — The church, located at 515 Webster St., will present its annual Christmas Cantata, an adaptation of Lana Manson’s Worthy, featuring the Hattie S. Mann Senior Choir and the Gospel Music Workshop of America Inc. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Antioch M.B. Church  —  The church, located in Brinson, will hold a gospel concert on Saturday, Dec. 17, beginning at 4 p.m. featuring the church choir in honor of the anniversary of the church and the pastor, Rev. Cleveland Sanders. Special guests will be the St. Mary Freewill Baptist Church choir from Moultrie. Brother Bill James of WSTT 730 AM Radio will be master of ceremonies.

The Lamb’s Temple of God Ministries — The church, located at 1425 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Bainbridge, will be the site of a combined Christmas program, “Can Jesus Get a Room” on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. Other churches participating are God’s Temple of Holy Praise, Bainbridge, and Loving Kindness Outreach Ministries of Colquitt, Ga.

First Baptist Church — The church, located on Shotwell Street in Bainbridge, will have a candlelight and communion service on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. Christmas Day will have morning worship at 10 a.m. No Sunday school or evening worship.

St. Paul M.B. Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84 East, will have a Christmas Day service at 9 a.m. on Dec. 25 and a New Year’s Day service on Jan. 1, 2012, at 10 a.m. There will not be a watch night service on New Year’s Eve.
