Charles R. Rowe, 65, of Ft. McCoy, Fla., passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011.

The funeral service for Rowe will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Ivey Funeral Home.

Mr. Rowe was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Homestead, Fla., the son of William Hugh Rowe and Roba Paulette Matthews Rowe. He was a graduate of South Dade High School, Class of 1964, and earned an undergraduate and a Jurist Doctor degree from the University of Florida. Mr. Rowe was an attorney with a practice in Homestead, Fla. He was a member of the Rotary Club in Homestead, the Elks Club in Ocala, Fla., and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by his wife, Libby Alderman Rowe.

Survivors include his daughters, Carey Ann Rowe of Melbourne, Fla. and Roba Paulette Rowe of Lexington, Ky.; his son, William Hugh Rowe of Tallahassee, Fla.; his stepsons, Keith Brandies and Mark Brandies, both of Ocala; his sisters, Paulette Coons of Kingwood, Texas, Marilyn Sellars of Tallahassee, Daphne Caldwell of Florence, S.C., and Wisteria Jenkins of Seattle, Wash.; and his brother, John Rowe of Bell, Fla.
