Services for Sadie Sykes Arline, 79, of Faceville, will be held Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Faceville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church, beginning at 1 p.m. until the service time.

Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Mrs. Arline was born Sept. 19, 1932 in Hosford, Fla. She died Nov. 16, 2011 in Tallahassee, Fla., after a short illness. She had lived in Chattahoochee, Fla., and Hollywood, Fla., before she and her husband, Thomas S. Arline, retired and moved to Faceville 11 years ago. She was a member of the Faceville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Thomas S. Arline; three sons, Thomas Sylvester Arline III of Faceville, Charles Randall (Rendi) Arline of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Richard Thadyous Arline of Hollywood; two sisters, Betty Sykes (Davis) Quick of Crawfordville, Fla., Frances (Randolph) Bunton of Walterboro, S.C.; three brothers, Eugene (Bonnie) Sykes of Luverne, Ala., Jerry (Martha) Sykes of Gretna, Fla., Spessard (Nancy) Sykes of Mississippi; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Faceville Baptist Church, 2109 Faceville-Attapulgus Road, Bainbridge GA 39819.
