• Lifestream Church — The church, located at 1301 S. West St., began a bible study Nov. 2, that will continue each Wednesday through Dec. 14, (with Nov. 23 off for Thanksgiving). The study is based on the book “Not a Fan,” by Kyle Idleman, a Louisville, Ky. pastor. Contact Elisa Sellars, 243-9833 for more information. • Second St. James M.B. Church — The church, located at 1912 S. Potter St., will have the church senior choir observe Harvey’s Day on Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. with music by the Mt. Nebo Church Choir. • Union Missionary Baptist Church — The church, located at 703 Martin St., West Bainbridge, will observe its 78th anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. with the theme “A Church built on Faith in God.” Dinner will be served. • Pine Hill M.B. Church — The church, located 1048 Pine Hill Road, will celebrate Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. Rev. Henry Stephenson and the 2nd Morning Star M.B. Church will be in charge of services.  • St. Luke Freewill Baptist Church — The church, located at 411 W. Orange St., will celebrate its annual Men and Women’s Day on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker is Seletha Small, 93.1 radio personality from Dothan, Ala. • Southwest Baptist Church — The church, located at 1101 Faceville Highway, will present a Thanksgiving Drama on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m., entitled “I Can Only Imagine.” • First Christian Church — The church, located at 908 S. Scott St., will host the Community Thanksgiving Service on Nov. 20 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.  • Ephesus 7th Day Adventist Church — The church, located at 1604 Butler Ferry Road, will be distributing food and clothing to those in need age 45 and older on Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or as long as supplies last. Please bring container. Only one box per household.  • St. Paul M.B. Church — The church, located on Hwy 27 North, will celebrate its 100th anniversary nightly at 7:30 on Nov. 23, 25 and 27, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Pastor Levi Kelly has 36 years of service to the community. • First African Baptist Church — The church, located at 115 Church St. in West Bainbridge, will hold a Thanksgiving Worship Service on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 6:30 p.m. • Disciples of Jesus Ministries — The church, located at 1630 Bethel Road, will have a Unity in the Community Thanksgiving Feast from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, offering free dinners for the community and activities for the children. • Union Baptist Church — located in West Bainbridge, will host the Bainbridge-Decatur County Outreach Mission anniversary program on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. Rev. Dennis Brinson, associate pastor at St. Paul M.B. Church, will be the speaker.  • Mt. Nebo M.B. Church — The church, located on Lake Douglas Road, will have a special Thanksgiving service on Nov. 24 at noon, with Rev. Eric Gordon of Lawrenceville, Ga., as the guest speaker. Dinner will be served. • Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church — The church, located at 849 Martin Luther King Drive, will celebrate their annual Harvest Rally Friends and Family Day on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. Rev. M. Wilkerson will be the guest minister. • Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church — The church, located at 1810 S. West St., will have a Harvest Rally Old Fashion Day on Nov. 27 at 11:15 a.m. On this day the congregation dresses in old-time overalls and bonnets. Dinner will be served. • Second Morningstar M.B. Church — The church, located in Attapulgus, will have its pastor Henry Stephenson’s second anniversary in the first week of December. The Dec. 1 service with Rev. Willie Smiley will be at 7 p.m.; the Dec. 2 service with Rev. C.J. Henry will be at 7 p.m.; and the Dec. 4 service with Rev. Andrew McDowell Jr. will be at 3 p.m. • Magnolia M.B. Church — The church, located at 121 Center St., will have a 50 States Program near the fairground on Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. Persons interested in representing a state are invited to contact Minister Mary F. Church— The church, located in Brinson, will hold a gospel concert on Saturday, Dec. 17, beginning at 4 p.m. and featuring the church choir in honor of the anniversary of the church and the pastor, Rev. Cleveland Sanders. Special guests will be the St. Mary Freewill Baptist Church choir from Moultrie, Ga. Brother Bill James of WSTT 730 AM Radio will be master of ceremonies.
