The Decatur County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and other local businesses are having a toy drive this Christmas for needy families in Decatur County. Toys for all ages are needed, and they must be new. Drop-off points for the toys are Decatur County Fire and Rescue (located in the Industrial Park by the airport), Decatur County EMS (located off U.S. Highway 84 on Airport Road), at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital ER (located off Shotwell Street) and at Sammy’s Bait & Tackle (located on Faceville Highway). The deadline for dropoff is Dec. 3. If there are any questions, please contact any of the locations listed above. These toys will be going to children who otherwise would receive nothing on Christmas.
