A memorial service for Ronnie Dean Williams Sr. (Pa Ronnie), 64, was held Friday at 11 a.m. at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home in Aiken, S.C.
Ronnie Dean Williams Sr., beloved husband of Freddie Henderson Williams, winged his way to heaven at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at his son and daughter-in-law’s residence in Aiken, S.C.
Born in Camilla, on Nov. 10, 1946, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Benjamin Eugene and Ila Bishop Williams. He had lived in Albany, Ga., for the last 20 years after moving from Bainbridge. Ronnie worked as an insurance agent for over 35 years in Albany and surrounding areas and was currently employed with Pioneer Credit in Leesburg, Ga. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. His greatest accomplishment was the love he gave to his wife, family and friends. He will be long remembered and missed.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 31 years, Freddie, include a daughter, Kim Williams Fowler of Pensacola, Fla.; three sons, Ronnie (Heather) Williams Jr., Robby (Kim) Gullage of Aiken, S.C., and Roy (Helen) Gullage of Valdosta, Ga.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Nell (Tom) Dyches of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and a host of other relatives and many friends.
