Special to The Post-Searchlight

Last week marked the nationwide release of My Hare Line and the Hat, the latest children’s book in the My Hare Line series by Bainbridge author Patsy M. Henry.

In this installment, after a pine tree falls and knocks into the rabbit pen fence, Brownie asks Rascal if anyone escaped. Rascal thinks this was the silliest thing he had ever heard. As usual, Rascal talks to Aunt Paula Rabbit about what Brownie had said to him. Rascal is shocked to learn that his family is actually quite adventurous.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Henry lives in Bainbridge, where she enjoys spending time in the rabbit pen with her adorable pets. As she observes and takes photos of the bunnies, new stories come to life. Writing about them has been rewarding, but she has discovered that sharing the stories with children is even better.
