On Friday, Nov. 11, the River Writers will be hosting their annual public reading and open mic night. The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Callahan room upstairs at the Firehouse Center and Gallery.

This literary reading in support of the arts will include the River Writers and guest speakers reading poetry, prose and skits, as well as an open mic segment. Refreshments will be served before and after the entertainment.

Art work provided by the Decatur County Artists’ Guild will be on display. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
