The Lake Seminole Spurs Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is holding their annual Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship (JAKES) Day for youth on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Southland Experiment Forest, 719 Southland Road.

Youth attending JAKES Day will gain experience in archery, plant and tree identification, snake identification, and proper use of tree stands.
