The inaugural Lake Seminole Open Team Bass Tournament, sponsored by the city of Bainbridge and the Bainbridge Convention and Visitors Bureau, will take place Saturday and Sunday.

There will be a two-person team entry fee of $150 and a $10,000 guaranteed first prize.

Weigh-in ceremonies each day will begin at 3 p.m. near the new boat ramps at the Earle May Boat Basin.

There will be a $500 big fish prize both days. Boats will launch from the Earle May Boat Basin each day at safe daylight. The tournament field is limited to 200 boats; more than 100 had already signed up as of Tuesday.
