Whigham Baptist Church is the site to pick up dinner on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The benefit dinner is for Steve Akridge and Bebe Thompson. Tickets are available at Harrell King Heating & Air Conditioning, 770 Faceville Highway. For $7 you get grilled chicken leg quarter, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and dessert.
