Services for Mrs. Jo-Ann Anderson Weaver, 70, of Brinson, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Weaver and Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens with Phillip Anderson, Teddy Anderson, McCall Burney, Stacey Harlow, Greg Anderson, and Allen Weaver serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at Cox-Ware Funeral Home.

Jo-Ann Anderson was born April 3, 1941 in Graceville, Fla. to Walter B. and Mary Alice Stinson Anderson. She  died Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital.

She was married to Emerson B. Weaver for 52 years. She was a wonderful caregiver to those who were ill and was known as an exceptional cook. She loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Ben Weaver, and her daughter, Tonya Weaver Sallas.

Survivors include her husband, Emerson B. Weaver of Brinson; her daughter, Terri Schreeder and husband Bob of Davenport, Fla.; her grandchildren, Laura Leigh Smith, Jacob Smith, Taylor Weaver, Brooke Patisaul, Nikki Fogarty, and Jo-Lynn Clark; great grandchildren, Abbie Newberry, Dawson Clark, Brayden Nauman, Gary Patisaul, and Paige Patisaul; son-in-law, Todd Sallas of Dothan, Ala.; sisters and brother, Ruby Nell Mcintosh and husband, Leonard, of Elba, Ala., Walter Ted Anderson of Climax, and Linda Gail Braswell and husband, A.J., of Brinson.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
