Only 2 weeks left in photo contest

Only two weeks remain in the Southwest Georgia Farm Credit 2011 Photo Contest, and citizens are urged to get out their cameras and start snapping. The “Best Overall” photo will be featured on the cover of the October Bainbridge Living magazine.

“This is a terrific opportunity for local, amateur photographers to see their very own photo on the cover of a very high end magazine,” said Liz Nogowski, director of marketing at Southwest Georgia Farm Credit. “If the past two years are any indication, we can expect some terrific photos of life in the country.”

In addition to being published in Bainbridge Living, winning photos will appear in the Association’s Wiregrass Land & Living magazine, as well as in a 2012 calendar.

“We expect that over the course of the next two weeks, we’ll see some fabulous photography,” Nogowski said.

Awards will be given for the top three photos in each category at $100, $50, and $25. A grand prize of $150 will be awarded for “best overall” photo.
