The funeral service for John Wayne Love, 62, of Quincy, Fla., was held on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewitt Phillips officiating.

Born March 31, 1949 in Bainbridge, Mr. Love died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 at Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial Health Care.

Mr. Love was the son of John Henry Love and Lurlean Grace Peek. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as an electrician for the Engelhard Corporation.

Survivors include his sons, Wesley Love of Quincy, Fla., Robert Love of Orange Park, Fla., Freddy Love and his wife, Jessica, of Mulberry, Fla., Kris Love and Ed Deaton, both of Bainbridge, and Shaun Love of Climax; his daughter, Shirley Hand of Bainbridge; his sisters, Brenda Wilcox of Bainbridge, Becky Love of Thomasville, Ga.; and his seven grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
