Services for Joe N. McCullough, 75, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, July 24, at Second St. James M.B. Church with the Rev. Eugene Roberts officiating.

Interment followed at Jonas Lobe Cemetery with family and friends acting as pallbearers.

Mr. McCullough was born May 2, 1935, in Gadsden County, Fla. He died July 17, 2011. He attended schools in Decatur County. He joined the Wilson Chapel Church in Cairo at an early age and sang with a Gospel quartet traveling various states. He was a truck driver and supervisor at Roddenbery in Cairo for 30 years.

He later moved to Bainbridge and joined Second St. James M.B. Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret McCullough; nine children, Katherine Jackson of Jacksonville, Fla., Keith McCullough of Kerville, Texas, Joe McCullough Jr. of Pelham, Ga., Joanne Spann, Linda Lamoute, Sebrenna Jolly, Darryl McCullough, Wallace McCullough and Gregory McCullough, all of Cairo; 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
