County to meet with flood buyout homeowners

The Decatur County Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting with the homeowners who are participating in the Georgia Emergency Management Agency’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program flood-prone buyout program. The meeting will take place on Monday, July 25 at 7 p.m. in the commissioners’ board room at the County Administration Building, located at 203 W. Broughton St.

County to hold public hearing on millage rate

County Commissioners will also hold a public hearing on the proposed millage rate for its 2011-2012 Fiscal Year on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. Commissioners will hold their regular agenda meeting  on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the County Administration Building.
