Coach Gina Conley’s Bainbridge Middle School Bearcats seventh and eighth grade cheerleaders completed their three-day camp Thursday at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum with a performance for their parents, grandparents and other family members.

Prior to their performences, which included cheers, chants and dances, Bainbridge High School varsity Bearcats cheerleading coach Lea Hawkins talked to the families about the clinic.

“These young ladies have worked very hard this week,” coach Hawkins said. “To stay in shape they have completed a 5,000-meter, 3.1-mile run first thing each morning.

Seventh grade squad members include Lindsay Presnal, Chloe Powell, Abigail Wilson, Hannah Ray Holt, Lauren Braswell, Lindsey Buckhaulter, Presley Manley and Ellie Jeter.

Also on the seventh grade squad are Caitlin Miller, Briana Mills, Gracie Waddell, Jillian Hawkins, Haley Helms, Reagan Cox and Mayson Colon.

Among the eighth grade squad members are Santerica Thomas, Mary Trawick, Sage Long, Ashton Rentz, Conner Harrison, Alexis Gaines, Grace Reynolds and Macey Roland.

Completing the eighth grade squad are Emily Perkins, Maci Barber, Christy Pinson, Taylor Bush, Linda Moore, Katelynn Powell and Haylie Wilkinson.
