Services for the Rev. Leon Curtis VanLandingham, 75, of Donalsonville, Ga., and formerly of Whigham, Ga., will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Whigham Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Dean, Kenneth Cloud, Richard McNair and Al Murkerson officiating.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Whigham with his sons, son-in-law and grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Williams, Dewey Robinson, George Taylor, Larry Price, Billy Joe Lewis, Logan Lewis, Joe Cloud, Joe Addison, John Thomas, Dr. Brian Gaupp, Nelson Harrell, Bobby Palmer, Gary Frazier, Gary Cooper, Dixon Harrison, Gary Harrison and Dr. Sydney Cochran.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m..

Born on March 22, 1936, in Havana, Fla., to the late J.D. VanLandingham and Nadine Clyde Taylor VanLandingham, the Rev. VanLandingham died on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at his home in Seminole County.

He was a retired Baptist minister who had served several churches with the first being Whigham Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Nell VanLandingham; his parents; a granddaughter, Jayme VanLandingham Oder; two brothers, Douglas and Lloyd VanLandingham; and a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Aaron and Myrtle Logue.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Stokes VanLandingham of Donalsonville, Ga.; his children, Curt VanLandingham and fiance, Barbi, Greg VanLandingham and his wife, Debbie, and Sissy Ulmer and her husband, Terry, all of Whigham, Ga., Darius and Patsy Culverson, and Bobby and Aletha Culverson, all of Donalsonville, Ga., Joyce and Dennis Day of Tifton, Ga., Brenda and Windell Gardner of Dalhart, Texas, and Linda and Kent Croom of Donalsonville, Ga.; grandchildren, Hillary, Kyle, Natalie and Steven, Stephen, Cassie, Katie, Sean and Shannon, April and Greg, Ryan, Cal and Mare Dare, Cara and Austin, Dia and Ric, Drew and friend Ashley, Tiffany and Heath, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Bella Kate, Chase, Cameron, Kylie, Waylon, Shaunna, Spencer, Ashton, Grayson Ann, Brooks, Jackson, Amelia, Maddie, Maliee, Mary Richard, Jaycee, Caroline and Reed;  brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Buryl and Kathryn Logue, Beth and Carl Taylor, Durwood and Paulene Stokes and Earlene Halstead and friend, Glyn; special family friend, Mary Ann Evans.
