Funeral services for Frank Howard Brock were held Wednesday, July 13, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Craig Barnett officiating.

Interment followed in Brock Cemetery in the Vada community with Ricky Spooner, Mike Brock, Ronnie Spooner, Chuck Ponder, Jerry Cooper and Wayne Brock serving as active pallbearers.

Born April 20, 1929, in Decatur County, Ga., he was the son of William and Bama Taylor Brock. Mr. Brock died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Ga.

He was a retired farmer. Working in his garden brought much joy to Frank. Frank married Ellie Harvell Brock; who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Martha Ann Cox and her husband, Frank, Frankie Eaton and David Brock, all of Leesburg, Ga.; his brother, Cleo Brock of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Tobey Cox of Leesburg, Ga., Renee’ Griffin and her husband, Kevin, of Valdosta, Ga., Heath Cooper and his wife, Laura, of Sylvester, Ga., and Brock Eaton of Leesburg; as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
