Terry Lewis, who is a plant operator for BASF Corp. in Attapulgus as well as a sergeant with the National Guard’s 1177th Transportation Company out of LaGrange, Ga., recently recognized his employers with certificates of appreciation as Patriotic Employers through the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recognition program.

Lewis is currently deployed to Kuwait where he is serving with Operation New Dawn.

“Terry is a great employee, and we miss his presence at the site. We appreciate his service and the sacrifice that he and his family are making on behalf of our country,” said Scott Pounds, site director.
