Graveside services for James Wesley Baggerly, 95, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be held Friday, July 8, at 12 p.m., at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Mike Adams officiating.

Matt Musgrove, Gene Earp, B.J. Grubbs, Freddie Whigham, Robbie Whigham, Shawn Baggerly and Michael Dukes will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Earp, Josh Harp, Alisa Bynum, Abbie Baggerly, Tajhia Whigham, Brenda Golden, Rhonda Baggerly, Cassie McMillian, Leann Evans, Teresa Odom, Dana Martin, Jessica Baggerly and Stephanie Garrett.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 7, at 6 to 8 p.m. at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel.

Born Dec. 13, 1916, in Brinson, Ga., to the late Otis and Mary Baggerly, Mr. Baggerly died on Thursday, July 5, 2011, at his residence.

He has lived in Bainbridge for most of his life. He was a Union Pipe Fitter by trade and retired from Local Union 368. He was a member of the White’s Bridge Road Seven Day Adventist Church, the Masonic Lodge in Havana, Fla., and the Hasan Temple in Albany Ga.

Mr. Baggerly is survived by his wife, Clara Baggerly of Bainbridge; four sons, Wayne Wesley Baggerly and his wife, Gracie; Willard Musgrove and his wife, Linda; Randy Baggerly and his wife, Rhonda; and Glenn Baggerly and his wife, Shelley; three daughters, Mary Virginia Yates and her husband, Freeman; Julie Ann Earp and the late husband, Danny, and Pauline Whitaker and her husband, Sidney; two stepsons, Roger Braswell and Dana Braswell; one brother: K.P. Baggerly and his wife, Bonnie; 27 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and numerous extended family members.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
