Summer tennis, swimming going on

The Bainbridge tennis center is hosting summer camps for kids that combine high-quality tennis instruction with outdoor water activities such as slip-and-slide, water balloons and more.

The third session will be held July 18-21.

The camp is open to children aged 6 through 12 years old.

The cost for each child is $50 per week.

The camp runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for four weekdays.

Swim lessons offered

The Bainbridge Aquatic Center is offering swim lessons at 601 Potter St. The next session will be held July 11 to July 22. The fee is $35 per child, per session. Lessons are held from 11 a.m. to noon on weekdays.

Swim lessons are for children and youth ages 2 to 17 years old. Space will be limited to 30 children per session.

YMCA swim team practicing

The YMCA Barracudas youth swim team began practicing on May 30 and will continue through July 30. Practice is held Monday through Friday, from 8 to 10 a.m., at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center on Potter Street. Swim meets are held on Saturdays in cities across South Georgia.
