• Life Stream Church—The church located 1301 S. West St. (on the corner of Alice and West streets) will have Game Day on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a public family event with volleyball and water balloon games outdoors. Board games will be indoors with air-conditioned comfort. Lunch is at 2. Hot dogs will be furnished and those who prefer another meat may bring it for grilling.

• Second Elizabeth M.B. Church—The church, located 1718 Attapulgus Hwy., Quincy, will observe Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Day and Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19, during the 11 a.m. worship service. • St. John A.M.E. Church—The church, located 416 E. Broad St., in Climax, will have a Father’s Day fellowship service on Sunday, June 19, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Williams will be the guest speaker.

• St. Thomas M.B. Church—The church, located 198 Edward Road, Fowlstown, will hold revival services June 20-24 at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Gary C. Sanders Jr. of Mount Olive, M.B. Church in Albany as speaker.

• Mount Olive A.M.E. Church—The church, located Highway 309, Attapulgus, will hold a revival June 22-24 at 7 p.m. Guests will be the Rev. Anthony Choice and St. Luke C.M.E Church, Thomasville on Wednesday; Thursday will be the Rev. Henry Mattias and Richland M.B. Church, Boston, Ga.; Friday is the Rev. Fredrick Foster and St. John A.M.E. Church of Boston. Speaker for the revival will be the Rev. John W. Law, pastor of the church.

• Travelers Rest M.B. Church—The church, located 661 Cal Thomas Road in Whigham, will have a deaconess first workshop on Saturday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the theme, “How to become an effective servant leaders.” Registration fee is $10 per person. Contact Ethel Johnson at 248-8732.

• Lily Hill M.B. Church—The church, located in Climax, will hold a Men and Women Day on Sunday, June 26, at 11:30 a.m. with Evangelist Barbara Haynes of Redeeming Life Fellowship Church in Cairo as guest speaker.

• Mount Ararat P.B. Church—The church, located 7797 Tallahassee Hwy., will observe its annual Usher’s Anniversary on Sunday, June 26, at 2:30 p.m. with Elder Henry Stephenson and the Second Morning Star Church family rendering services. Refreshments will be served immediately following the service.

• Mount Olive A.M.E. Church—The church, located Highway 309, Attapulgus, will have a Family and Friend Celebration on Sunday, July 31, at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. John Gardner, pastor of Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church of Quincy. Refreshments will be served.
