The Bainbridge tennis center is hosting summer camps for kids that combine high-quality tennis instruction with outdoor water activities such as slip-and-slide, water balloons and more.

A second session camp session will be held on June 20-22 and the third session will be held July 18-21.

The camp is open to children aged six through twelve years old. The cost for each child is $50 per week. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for four weekdays.

YMCA swim team practicing

The YMCA Barracudas youth swim team began practicing on May 30 and will continue through July 30. Practice is held Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center on Potter Street. Swim meets are held on Saturdays in cities across South Georgia.
