Funeral services for Nettie Grace Ross Roberts, 87, of Colquitt, Ga., will be held on Tuesday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with Rev. Gerald Ross, Dr. Ken Ross and Pastor Windell Widner officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be the grandsons Ricky Roberts, Damon Roberts, Stanley Roberts, Windell Widner, Todd Widner and Chris Butler.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Houston County, Ala., on Feb. 15, 1924. She died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Miller County Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bartow, Fla., and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Lee and Cora Helms Ross; her husband, Robert Durwood Roberts Sr.; five brothers, Alto Ross, Roscoe Ross, Chester Ross, Lester Ross and Albert Ross; three sisters, Ruth Deese, Sara Davis and Ovida Ross; and a son-in-law, Devon Butler.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Johnny Roberts of Donalsonville and Robert Durwood Roberts Jr. of Dawson, Ga.; two daughters, Linda Widner and Sue Butler, both of Dawson; one brother, Terry Ross of Auburndale, Fla.; two sisters, Ilene Music of Bartow, Fla., and Mildred Floyd of Blakely, Ga., seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice 432 E. Shotwell St. Bainbridge, GA 39819.
