Services for Dorothea Rentz Cayson Eakin, 74, of Cairo, Ga., will be held Saturday, April 23, at 10 a.m. at the Bethel Assembly of God Church, Greensboro, Fla.

The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Eakin was born Feb. 22, 1937, in Baker County, Ga., and died Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eddie Lee Cayson and Irvin Eakin, and a daughter, Donna Dixon.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Manderfield of Tallahassee, Fla., Eddie Dixon of Cairo, Diane Hodnett and Dawn Rackley, both of Whigham, Ga.; three sisters, Thelma Nalls and Evelyn Hutchens of Bainbridge and Catherine Taylor of Tallahassee; a brother Buddy Rentz of Greensboro, Fla.; her partner in life, Don White, of Tallahassee; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home in Quincy, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements.
