Harvey’s Store Manager James Woodard accepts a check from Bainbridge High School’s Air Force JROTC Corps Commander Cadet Major Adam Anderson. Donations were collected from a Shamrock fund-raiser at BHS conducted by the Air Force JROTC cadets to support Jerry’s Kids in the fight against muscular dystrophy. On the far left is Lt. Col. Dave Stewart, senior aerospace science instructor for the BHS Air Force JROTC program, and far right is Senior Master Sgt. Frank Geslak, aerospace science instructor at BHS. Harvey’s Supermarket was the central point for the muscular dystrophy fund-raising campaign in Decatur County. Woodard said the goal for this years fund-raiser was $8,000, and that goal was exceeded by $170. Other contributors to the drive were Coca-Cola, Gojos Karate, Hill’s Stump Grinding, Internet Café, Joann’s Auction, Pepsi & Frito Lay, and River Bend Seafood restaurant.
