• Pine Hill M.B. Church—The church, located at 1048 Pine Hill Road, will have a celebration of life program for cancer patients, Bainbridge Oncology Support Team, on Saturday, April 16, at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Dwight Reaves, pastor of St. Mark M.B. Church as guest speaker.

• New Salem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located 2573 Spring Creek Road, will conclude it observance of Pastor Archie Crews and the church anniversary on Sunday, April 17, at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Theme of the program is Striving to Rise to the Next Level.

• Pine Forest Baptist Church—The church, located 104 Pine Forest Road, will hold a Spring Fling Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 17, with a covered dish lunch after morning worship service and an afternoon filled with great activities, including an egg hunt, egg/spoon race, three-legged race, balloon toss, balloon race, sack race and a pie eating contest.

• Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The church, located on MLK Drive, will host the meeting of the St. Thomas Chapter No. 37 Order of Eastern Star annual Queen Esther Day on Sunday, April 17, at 3 p.m. with Sister Alice Johnson Worthy Matron and Betty Weston.

• Morningside Baptist Church—The church, located 1303 Vada Road, will present “Majesty!” a special program by the church choir on Sunday, April 17, at 6 p.m. Child care will be provided. Easter morning service celebration will be at 10 a.m. on April 24.

• First United Methodist Church—The praise band of First United Methodist Church will present “Praise in the Park” on Sunday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in Willis Park. Bring a “brown bag dinner” and a blanket or chairs and come listen and sing along with the praise band as you worship through song and music.

• Southwest Baptist Church—The church at 1101 Faceville Hwy. will have a senior citizens luncheon and program on Monday, April 18, at noon. All senior citizens are invited to attend.

• Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The church, located at 849 Martin Luther King Blvd. will be the site of an annual revival nightly, beginning Wednesday, April 20, through Friday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m., and closing Sunday, April 24, at 11 a.m. Pastor John Neal of Greater St. Andrews M.B. Church in Climax will be the speaker.

• New Voices of Faith—On Saturday, April 23, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 24, at 3 p.m. at the old Miller County High School, 96 Perry St., Colquitt. There will be choirs, groups and quartets from Georgia, Florida and Alabama celebrating the 70th year anniversary of New Voices of Faith. For more information, contact Jackie Jones (229) 758-5674.

• Fellowship Baptist Church—The church, located 2861 Spring Creek Road, Brinson, will present an Easter cantata and Passion Play, “Amazing Grace, My chains are Gone,” on Saturday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m.

• Climax Churches—The churches of Climax are sponsoring an interdenominational Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 24, at the Old Depot on the Swine Time Grounds. A light breakfast will be served at the Chitlin’ Barn immediately following the service, compliments of the Climax Community Club.

• Southwest Baptist Church—The church, located 1107 Faceville Hwy., will have special Easter Sunday services on April 24. A sunrise service will be at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast. Sunday School is at 9:30. “I Know My Redeemer Lives,” an Easter Cantata, presented by the church choir, and the Lord’s Supper will be at 10:30 a.m.

• Pine Forest M.B. Church—The church will hold Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. and regular morning worship at 11 a.m. on April 24. There will be no evening service.

• Morris Temple Community First Born Church of the Living God—The church, located 300 Poplar Ave. in Bainbridge, will hold Easter Sunrise services at 7:30 a.m. April 24 with Minister Alver Mae Clary speaking. Breakfast will be served following the service.

• Pine Hill M.B. Church—The church, located 1048 Pine Hill Church Road, will hold an Easter Prayer Breakfast on Easter Sunday, April 24, at 8:30 a.m.

• Faith Life Ministries—The church, located 335 Colquitt Hwy. at Eldorendo, will have an Easter Passover program on Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

• Disciples of Jesus No. 2 Ministries—The church, located 1630 Bethel Road, will have featured speakers as follows: April 25, Pastor Frank Brison of Tallahassee at 7 p.m.; April 26, Pastor Frank Hogan at 7 p.m.; April 27, Pastor C. Spencer of Thomasville at 6:30 p.m.; April 28, Dr. Blake of Thomasville at 7 p.m.; April 29, Pastor Calvin Williams of Quitman at 7 p.m.; May 1, Elder Robert Lawson of Albany at 11:15 a.m.

• First African Baptist Church—The church, 515 Webster St. in Bainbridge, will hold the annual revival meeting starting Wednesday night April 27 through Friday night at 7:30 nightly. The Rev. Eric Collins, the pastor of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, will be speaker for the week.

• Friendship House of Jesus—The Friendship House, 220 N. Russ St., will celebrate their 20-year anniversary on Thursday, May 5, from 5 to 6 p.m.

• Kingdom Harvest Fellowship Church—The church, located 652 Wautauga Road in Attapulgus, is calling all women to a special program, “Getting at his Feet,” a “white night affair,” with guest speaker Apostle Sonja Perry-Evans of Birmingham, Ala., on May 6 at 7:30 p.m.

• Faith Life Ministries—The church, located 335 Colquitt Hwy. in Eldorendo, will have a Mother’s Day celebration on May 8 at 11:45 a.m. with Pastor Earl Hallmon and the Mount Zion young adult choir of Damascus leading the service. Dinner will be served.

• Pine Forest M.B. Church—The church, located 104 Pine Forest Road, will hold a special Homecoming morning worship service at 11 a.m. on May 15, followed by a covered dish luncheon and time for fellowship and sharing memories.

• Pine Forest M.B. Church—The church, located 104 Pine Forest Road, will hold a Fifth Sunday night sing on May 29, beginning at 6 p.m.
