Funeral services for Chloe Lane Stephens, 86, of  Donalsonville, were held Monday, April 11, 2011 at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Casketbearers were Allen Todd, Neil Buckhaulter, Joe Wagner, Drew Wagner, Keith Lovering, Dustin Stephens and Kennan Staples.

Born in Colquitt, Ga., on Nov. 2, 1924, Mrs. Stevens died Friday, April 8, 2011 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville. She attended Spring Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kennedy Lamar Stephens; a son, Kennedy Stephens; four brothers, Quincy Anglin, Jim Anglin, John Anglin and Harvey Anglin; and one sister, Niza Lee Anglin.

She is survived by one son, J.L. Stephens of Donalsonville; and one daughter, Kathy Beaty of Moultrie, Ga.; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
