Store robbed Thursday morning

[singlepic id=1317 w=300 h=201 float=left]Bainbridge Public Safety is investigating an armed robbery that happened early Thursday morning at a convenience store on Georgia 309 South.

At 6:23 a.m., a clerk at Singh’s Food Mart at 2200 Fowlstown Road reported she had been physically assaulted by two black males, BPS Chief Investigator Frank Green said. The robbers demanded money from the store’s cash register and then fled on foot.

[singlepic id=1319 w=300 h=201 float=left]Investigators from BPS, the Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene. A bloodhound tracking dog from the Apalachee Correctional Institute in Sneads, Fla., was brought in to help find the suspects’ trail.
