City council met Tuesday

In other business from its March 1 meeting, the Bainbridge City Council also:

• Approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Decatur County Board of Elections to hold the city’s municipal elections this November, and

• Approved a request from Jody and Lisa Hughes to annex their property at 418 Toole Dairy Road into Bainbridge city limits for the purpose of obtaining water services.

Bids and Bills

The council unanimously approved the following bids and bills:

Bills: $3,173 from PRU of Norcross, Ga., for additional natural gas liability premium; $25,121.50 from Decatur County Commissioners for monthly landfill and inmate charges; and $4,822.51 from R&M of Leesburg, Ga., for fiber optics cable used in extending data service to the E-911 tower on Spring Creek Road.

Bids: $15,138.20 from Adapco of Sanford, Fla., for mosquito control supplies; $5,950.44 from Leisure Lines of Morrow, Ga., for equipment associated with new Boat Basin pavilions; and $11,062.75 from Georgia Farm Power of Carrollton, Ga., for an aera-vator and related equipment.
