Former football coach Spencer “Onion” Davis, former pro baseball player Ernie Riles, track coach Larry Clark and former collegiate All-American and pro football player Ken Rice have been selected to be the first class inducted into the Decatur County Sports Hall of Fame.

The inductees, who were nominated by local citizens, will be honored at a reception and induction banquet Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Kirbo Center. The reception will get underway at 6 p.m. and the banquet will follow.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, Keith Lyle’ Edward Jones office, Dehildren Realty, Palmer Insurance, First Port City Bank, Park Avenue Bank, Family Bank, Southwest Georgia Oil and Live 101.9 Radio.
