The Grace Christian Academy Lady Cougars basketball team, coached by Mike Harrell, dropped a close 33-31 decision to the Open Bible Christian School Lady Warriors from Valdosta Tuesday at Perry Memorial Gymnasium.

Leading the way for coach Mike Harrell’s Grace team were Rachel Harrell with 17 points. She was followed by Brock Bailey with 7 and Emma Heard with 4.

The Lady Cougars returned to action last night, taking on another Valdosta school, Highland Christian Academy, in their annual homecoming game.

They will return to action Tuesday, taking on Valdosta’s Georgia Christian School Lady Generals at 6 p.m. at Perry Memorial Gymnasium.

On Friday, they will play the Emmanuel Christian School Lady Warriors at 6 p.m. in Dothan.
