Funeral services for Eunice Cook, 80, of Iron City, Ga., will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating.
Burial will follow in the City Cemetery in Colquitt, Ga.
Mrs. Cook was born in Jakin, Ga., on Feb. 9, 1930, and died Jan. 18, 2011, at the home of her daughter. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Toole and Lula Mae Philman Toole; father of her children, Aristo Cowart; her second husband, Ira Lamar Cook; two sons, Barry Lee Cowart and Jimmy Toole, and a son-in-law, Jimmy Bellflower.
She is survived by four daughters, Veda Bellflower of Bainbridge, Ga., Joanne Morris, Gwen Hurley and Brenda Hunter, all of Iron City; one sister, Lessie Young of Blakely, Ga.; three sons, Wayne Cowart of Iron City, and Gene Cowart and Stanley Cowart, both of Colquitt; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper is in charge of the arrangements.
