Bainbridge is losing another popular luncheon eating place next week.

Edward Reynolds has announced the closing of the Corner Bistro Cafe housed in the Bainbridge Pharmacy.

Final day of operation for the cafe is Friday, Jan. 28.

Reynolds said there has been food or fountain service connected with the pharmacy in one format or another for at least 10 years.

Although he was reluctant to discuss in detail what the future plans were for the space vacated by the bistro, Reynolds said his plans are to continue to concentrate the business on the gift department and medical equipment in addition to the pharmacy section.

“We are just doing what we need to do to continue to better serve the public,” he added.

Reynolds had high praise for the staff and management of the food service and said he believes there will be other opportunities for them in the market place.
